Give in to “me”

nav-long
In the shadows on the green grass,
you seek solace
from the deafening uproar,
of the blindfold race

Pumping the devils poison,
in an uncontrolled parade
waiting for the night to end,
to see the suns shinning face

All walk towards the silent hymn,
where the song of the unknown plays
to fall when the time comes,
when the path beneath you fades

Open your eyes to see the stars,
to see where you can fly
above the trees of the unwanted growth,
to let out that holy cry

If you don’t desire the day,
you’ll never want the night to die
if you’re not ready for the madness,
there’s no need to cry

Unless the steps are taken,
until the doors are walked through
you’ll never taste the sacred fruit,
that’s been hanging there for you
