I got hooked on to computers and the web around the same time when everyone else in India was exposed to these back in the 90′s. I’ve never been able to “unhook” since and now, I’m categorised as a “geek”.
Music and photography (among others) have always been an integral part of the person that I am and my expression. Sometime in 2003 I went to Bangalore for my Industrial Internship and joined Scratch DJ School, and trained for 6 months as a DJ under, DJ Swing and DJ Rulz. That’s when I came up with “djnavv” and that’s how I ended up calling my blog the same. I am not a professional DJ, I barely practice mixing these days anymore. I just like the name.

i think that this website and its contents are against all kind kind of conventions laid down in the society and hence it should be shut down. If you disagree and dont do it, we shall shut it down ourselves.

Hey Guys,
Our weekend batch starts on June 6th onwards.
Saturday and Sunday, classes will be held from 12 PM onwards.
We will be training our students from the basics to advance level, unlike other schools who divide the course in 2 or 3 modules and charge
separately for each module.
The Gist of the course is something like this.
Course outline
Choosing DJ equipment
Equipment set up
Pitch Matching
Beat Mixing
Musical Phrasing
Mixing Board Skills
Looping
FX
Set Structure
Mix Points
Impact Mixing
Turn Tablism etc etc.
You will be trained on Denon and Pioneer DJ Systems plus Turntables.
From Legacy systems to advance, so that you can hands on experience on almost all DJ systems used in the industry.
Ample time for practicals as we will be having 3 DJ consoles where you can practice depending upon the availability
of the consoles.Cause we believe in the mantra, Practice makes the Man perfect.
You can book your slots after your classes and practise and come over during weekdays and practice as we are open,
Tuesday to Sunday 11 AM to 7 PM.
We have also partnered with Cosmo Club on Cunningham Road.
The best Student from Scratchz will be entitled to perform along with DJ Collin Sen at Cosmo.
Plus we are in talks with event Management companies to get small gigs for our students, which might happen in near future.
We have a resident faculty named DJ Neil.

Certificates will be awarded at the end of the course.

Hey The Scratch DJ School was temp shut down until the start of 2009. We are back in action with a whole new falvour. We were busy with the production facilities and also the new equipment.
